- In order to comply with FAR 5.101(a) (2) for publicizing proposed contract actions expected to exceed $10,000 but not expected to exceed $25,000 in a public place, we will be posting the solicitation document only to Fed Biz Opps. The Contracting Officer has determined that this is a brand name requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider any responses from sources capable of providing the exact items. The requesting office is responsible for Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) of AN/ALR-69A. A major function of this activity is to process post test data for the Responsible Test Organization (RTO). The RTO has developed software that processes a particular parametric in the post test data that is critical in evaluating the ALR-69 system performance. This software was developed within the MATLAB environment and requires MATLAB software tools to process data. The software will only run in MATLAB environment and no alternative software package will meet this requirement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (26-DEC-2007).
