Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is soliciting competitive offers to perform hydrostatic testing/inspection of fuel transfer piping located at FAA facilities on Middleton Island, Biorka Island, and Sisters Island, Alaska. DOT/FAA anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract. Response to the solicitation is required by 2:30 p.m., Alaska Time, March 4, 2008. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments are available via written request to the Contracting Officer. No telephone requests will be accepted. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU) has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
