- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (HSCG38-08-Q-800006) incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-23. This is an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611310 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million dollars. The contract will be awarded using acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The award will be based on FAR Part 6.302-3. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The USCG intends to negotiate and award to Purdue University, Sponsored Program Services, 302 Wood Street, West Lafayette, Indiana, 47907-2108 or another university who can provide the Study and Analysis as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) without creating a substantial duplication of effort and cost to the government in order to gain the prerequisite knowledge acquired during six previous studies completed between 2003 and 2007 by Purdue University. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOTFOC) can be viewed at: http://www.uscg.mil/hq/arsc/web2006.swf Delivery will be made to USCG, Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Industrial Operations Division (LSB), Bldg. 78, Elizabeth City, NC 27909-5001. Delivery will be compliant with the schedule as listed in Appendix A of the Statement of Work (SOW). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered. Potential offerors must be able to demonstrate the prerequisite knowledge of ARSC?s production and supply chain processes. At the submission of each deliverable, hard copies required under this contract shall be furnished with a properly prepared packing slip. The packing slip shall include the following information: 1) Deliverable Number, 2) Nomenclature, 3) Purchase Order Number, and 4) Quantity. One copy of the packing slip will be submitted with the shipment and shall be attached to the outside of the shipping container.
