- The purpose of this amendment is to post additional questions and answers that have been received. j) ITEMS 1 AND 2-- IS IT 200 LH AND 200 RH DOOR UNITS? - Yes k) The 1-3/8 EXTERIOR 6-PANEL METAL DOOR UNIT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE INDUSTRY STANDARD, COULD WE FURNISH 1-3/4" EXTERIOR 6-PANEL METAL DOOR UNITS FOR #3 AND #4. Thickness of the door is not a factor, contractor may quote the 1-3/4". l) Can clin# 0001 & 0002 have primed jambs? No m) Can clin# 0003 & 0004 be 1 ?? thick? Yes (see answer 2 above) Answers to previously asked questions: a. When would delivery of the doors be required? - 30 days from date of award. b. Would they be shipped all at once, or would orders be placed over a period of time? - Shipped all at once. c. What material and style would the exterior doors be? - Exterior door are 6 panel steel/sheet metal w/foam cores. d. Also, does double bore refer to the boring for the lock set in both directions? ? Yes e. On clins 0003 & 0004 are the exterior doors Solid Core or Hollow Core doors? - FOAM CORE f. Can we ship the sills separately? ? We do this on most door orders because the sills can become damaged in transit. They will deliver on the same truck, but they will not be attached. - No g. On CLIN 0001 - Are the doors luan? - Yes h. On CLIN 0002 - Are the jambs 4-9/16" flat jambs? Yes i. On CLIN 0003 & CLIN 0004 - Are the exterior doors flat, steel or wood, and should they be 1-3/4" thick? - EXTERIOR DOORS ARE 6 PANEL STEEL/SHEET METAL W/FOAM CORES NOTE: ALL DOORS ARE TO BE PRE-HUNG. ALL SINGLE DOORS WHEN SHIPPED MUST BE PALLETIZED AND SHRINK WRAPPED FOR STORAGE PURPOSES. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (31-JAN-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
