- The Defense Distribution Center Norfolk, Norfolk, VA (DDNV) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, management efforts and any other items and services necessary to perform clean up of bird excrement within the buildings located at the Defense Distribution Center Norfolk, VA. The Contractor shall treat bird excrement as contaminated and environmentally and medically sensitive material. The Contractor?s method of removal and handling shall not cause particulates/spores to become air-born. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract for this acquisition to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. The Period of Performance shall be for a Base Year with 2 Option year period from the date of contract award. This requirement will be issued as a Request for Quotation, reference number SP3100-07-Q-0004. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562910 and the associated business size standard is $13,000,000.00. To receive an award resulting from this Request for Quotation, your company must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to award one contract from this Request for Quotation to the responsible contractor with the lowest price that meets the requirements of the Scope of work. The Request for Quotation will identify all information that a contractor must submit in order to be considered for an award. Failure to submit all the information requested may result in your quotation being eliminated. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) SP3100-07-Q-0004 will be posted to this site on September 10, 2007. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-SEP-2007).
