- Description
- This is a Combined Synopsis / Solicitation for Commercial Items, prepared in accordance with the format specified in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NHLBI-PB(HL)-2008-05/MKL. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation can be accessed by clicking on the hyperlink above. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) intends to procure the services of a professional recruiting firm to provide recruitment management and sourcing services. In particular, the NHLBI requires an organization that has extensive experience and a successful history of recruiting research scientists, physicians, and other specialized medical, clinical, and health care professionals for the Federal Government and/or medical facilities (i.e., hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical universities). The Contractor shall serve as an executive recruiter for the NHLBI. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541612, Human Resources and Executive Search Consulting Services, with a size standard of an average annual receipt of $6.5M over the last 3 years. This requirement will be conducted under full and open competition. The Government anticipates that there will be a single contract awarded for this requirement. The anticipated period of performance will consist of one twelve (12) month basic contract period, with four (4) additional twelve (12) month options.
