- Description
- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of upcoming project 08-8404, Replace Carpet with VCT Tile in Buildings M518 & M321 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision to replace the lounge carpet with VCT tile. M518 has been identified as not having asbestos containing material. M321 has been identified as containing asbestos mastic. The contractor shall comply with all federal, state and base regulations governing the removal, abatement and disposal of asbestos containing material. The Contractor shall dispose of all debris properly at the Base Landfill. A complete list of specifications will be included in the solicitation. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 562910 and the annual size standard is $13 million. The proposed contract is being considered for 100% HUBZone Set Aside. Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than ten (10) days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by notifying the contracting officer listed below. The contract completion date will be 60 days after award. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. The estimated magnitude of the requirement is less than $25,000.00. It is anticipated that there will be no bond requirements. Once it is available, offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. All interested offerors shall register at the website. The solicitation will be available on or about 21 December 2007. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is on or about 10 January 2008. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. The contractor, who provides the most advantageous offer in terms of price, conforming to the solicitation, will be awarded a contract.
