- Description
- This acquisition is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for surface preparation and application of various protective coatings and finishes to exterior and interior surfaces and removal and disposal of existing paint containing lead and/or asbestos at March Air Reserve Base, California. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the application of protective coatings to the exterior and/or interior surfaces at facilities and fuel sites. This is a unit price contract. The solicitation will be issued under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and the Government anticipates awarding a base period from the date of award through 31 Jan 09, with two one-year options that will result in a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The magnitude of the maximum amount is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 including all options. The applicable North American Industry Classification is 238320 and the size standard is $13,000,000. The contractor must be licensed by the state of California to be eligible for award. A bid bond is required for the guaranteed minimum amount. The sealed bid will be awarded without discussions to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors. This solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 11 Dec 07, on the Federal Business Opportunity web page at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov, with a proposal receipt due date on or about 15 Jan 08. Paper copies will not be available. After the solicitation is posted, interested parties are cautioned to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.ccr.gov and follow the instructions. SITE VISIT DATE WILL BE IDENTIFIED IN SOLCITATION. Offerors planning to attend the site visit are requested to submit the participant?s name, date of birth, social security number and drivers license number to martha.odonnell@march.af.mil and norman.macrunnel@march.af.mil. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the Government.
