- Description
- This procurement will be a 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. The Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Pacific/Domestic Dependent Elementary Secondary Schools-Guam (DoDDS-Pacific/DDESS-Guam) is looking for Small Business contractors who have the experience and expertise necessary to execute and manage a dynamic, full service student transportation operation in the U.S. Territory of Guam. Services shall include the lease of buses, driver services, dispatcher services, route management, and administrative support. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract. The contract will include provisions for a one-year base period with four one-year options not to exceed 60 months or 5 years. Solicitation HE1260-08-R-8001, which shall provide all information necessary for submittal of proposals, will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 15 February 2008. Contractors are advised that questions and comments should be reserved until after issuance of the solicitation. This office will not respond to any inquires received prior to the issuance of the solicitation. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
