Description

Scope of work consists of, but is not strictly limited to, upgrading the Court Security Officer (CSO) Station to comply with the USMS Judicial Security Systems Requirements and Specifications at the Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse; 201 South Vine Street; Urbana, IL 61801. The contractor will provide all management, supervision, manpower, equipment, and supplies necessary for this project. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Further, the prospective contractor must fully demonstrate their ability in renovating existing space at a commercial or government facility that entails detailed millwork finishes, in a manner that complies with Federal, State and local regulations and laws and within the time frames required. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. The solicitation is open to all business concerns in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with a size standard of $31 million. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about February 20, 2008. Funds are presently available for the project.
