- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Aircraft Division intends to issue a contract on a SOLE SOURCE basis, under the Authority of FAR Part 13, to Philadelphia Gear Corporation to perform a diagnostic evaluation of a Philadelphia Gear Corporation Gearbox, Serial Number #105756 and repair it if the Government determines it feasible. The Gearbox has not been serviced since 1997 and has shown high temperature indications during testing operations. The evaluation and repair (if determined feasible), must be completed within 60 days to minimize the downtime of the testing lab.
