- Specifications for Water Lubricated Bearings for DCV Driftmaster I. General 1. The contractor shall quote a price for fabrication of all four (4) flanged water lubricated nitrile lined flanged bearings below. The bearings sh ould be similar or equal to the Johnson Cutlass Flanged Bearings. The price quoted to include delivery to Caven Point, Jersey City 07305. II. Technical Specifications 1. Provide four (4) naval brass water lubricated propeller shaft bearings f or DCV Driftmaster similar or equal to Johnson Cutlass Flanged Bearings. 2. The bearings shall meet MIL-DTL-17901C (SH), which supersedes MIL-B-17901B (SH), Class II type bearing specifications. 3. The bearings shall be flanged, solid type, and con form to the dimensions below: Stern Tube (2) Strut Tube (2) a. Length: 21-1/4 21 b. I.D.: 5-1/2 5-1/2 c. O.D.: 7-3/8 7-3/8 d. Flange Thickness: 5/8 5/8 e. Flange Diameter: 11 10-5/8 4. The contractor shall have ten (10) weeks to deliver the specified bearings to Caven Point Marine Terminal in Jersey City, NJ.
