Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs at Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System, Sacramento Medical Center, Mather and VA Outpatient Clinic, Martinez, California is seeking sources under NAICS Code 621511(size standard of $11.5 million) that are classified as either: 1) 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or 2) Small Business that can provide Medical Physicist Services. Contractors responding to this Sources Sought Notice need to provide the following information to joel.burgess@va.gov no later than February 8, 2008. " Company Name, Address, Phone Number, Point of Contact " Three Reference Points of Contact for similar work " Previous Hospital/Medical Clinic Project Experience within last three years The Contractor shall provide professional Physicist Services. The contractor shall provide Medical Physicist & Medical Physicist Technician(s) to staff the Radiation Safety Program Headquartered at the (VANCHCS), at Mather, CA, 95655. A satellite office is located at VA OPC Martinez. The contractors employees (Medical Physicist & Medical Physicist Technicians(s) shall provide services to include: Oversight of Quality Assurance activities, Evaluation of Radiology equipment, or major repair that would affect the image quality or have impact on Radiation Protection. The service will include assessing patient radiation doses, ensuring facility compliance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations, and State of California Department of Health Services Radiological Health Branch Radioactive Materials License for sharing agreement facility. All inspections will be conducted on site at the VA facilities throughout Northern California.
