- The following are more vendor questions and the Government's response: QUESTION: The only stipulation I saw was that the facility must be within the Greenville city limits. Our closest . . . facility is in Morehead City NC. Please advise me if you would like . . . to continue to submit a proposal. ANSWER: There are 2 solicitations for Radiology Services: 1 for Morehead City, NC (VA-246-08-RP-0055) and 1 for Greenville (VA-246-08-RP-0056). Offerors must reside in the city limits of Morehead City, NC, if applying to VA-246-08-RP-0055, and/or Greenville, NC, if applying to VA-246-08-RP-0056. QUESTION: Do you have the FAR that allows a physician to work at a Federal Facility with any state license. I know it is done all the time and is definitely allowable, I am just having difficulty finding the FAR that permits it. ANSWER: A physician or anyone else can work at any VA as long as they have a valid license in ANY state. There is no FAR reference. QUESTION: We can provide the personnel to obtain Mammos, CT, DX, MRI, etc but we do not provide the equipment. Is this a bid for both? ANSWER: Yes, the Statement of Work (SOW) states: "The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, facility, professional and technical personnel services to provide routine x-ray, mammography, and ultrasound studies for eligible veteran beneficiaries as referred by the Department of Veteran Affairs, Morehead City Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 5420 Highway 70 West, Morehead City, NC, 28734." QUESTION: Could you please tell me the dollar value on each soliciations? and the number of exams performed? I know in a previous question asked you stated that no historical numbers for diagnostic x-rays are available, but do you have a round about figure? ANSWER: We cannot share the result of the Government's independent cost estimate for these solicitations. The figures contained in the Cost/Price Schedule are the Government's estimate for the number of exams to be performed. No other data is available.
