- Description
- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. The Government has a requirement for AN-SQS 53C Transducer Arrays, Sonar, Unit 717 Shipsets. It is anticipated that this action will result in a firm-fixed-price, 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a minimum quantity of 1/each first article unit and the maximum quantity of one 1/each First Article unit plus 12/each shipsets. The solicitation will be issued on the basis of full and open competition. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor who offers the best value to the Government, considering technical capability, past performance, and price. Delivery of 1/each first article will be required within 730 days after contract award. Delivery will be FOB Origin and inspection and acceptance will be performed by DCMA at the contractor?s plant. The solicitation will be available on or about 25 February 2008 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Interested sources must download from the www site listed and must contact Ms. Cynthia Young, Code 0564EC, at telephone 812-854-2433, Fax 812-854-4848 or e-mail: cynthia.c.young@navy.mil for technical data that is not posted on the www site. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Reference the ab ove solicitation number when responding to this notice. Numbered Note 26 applies.
