Description
The New York Harbor Healthcare System - Brooklyn Campus VA is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned or 8(a) firms that can provide Interventional Radiology services to the Brooklyn VA. All interventional radiologists providing services must be in the employment of the Contractor and must be either fellowship-trained or certified by the American Board of Radiology, American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or the American Board of Physician Specialties in Radiology in their subspecialty. Interventional Radiology services to include: Biopsy, drainage of collections, nephrostomy, percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage, biliary stent, port placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, angiography, angioplasty and stent placement, thrombolytic therapy, A-V graft declot and stenting, percutaneous atherectomy, filter placement, embolization, chemoembolization, PICC line insertion, hemodialysis catheter placement, and percutaneous cholecystostomy. Contractor's IR Radiologist shall the routine coverage provide of a board certified radiologist (on site) up for 3 to 5 days per week for 8 hours a day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays. On an on-call basis 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, Contractor shall provide emergency IR coverage at the VA Brooklyn campus. The on-call Interventional Radiologist will be available at all times, and will be expected to respond in person when necessary within 60 minutes.
