- Description
- The Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Forrest City, Arkansas, intends to issue a solicitation for the Quarterly Subsistence items. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business, FOB Destination and delivery dates will be the week of April 1st through April 11, 2008. Delivery dates after April 11th, must be approved by the Food Service Administrator. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex Warehouse, 1301 Dale Bumpers Road, Forrest City, Arkansas 72335. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation are considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price-related factors only. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 7, 2008, and all future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about February 22, 2008. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 424410. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other Organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Each offeror is also required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their Representations and Certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (OCRA) at http://orca.bpn.gov .
