V231 - Lodging: Hotel/Motel NAICS Code: 721110, $6.0 Please do NOT call or send an email regarding this synopsis. Stay tuned to this web site for the complete solicitation (RFQ). Then submit a quote per the instructions in the RFQ if you have date and space availability. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) require guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel for OCC?s 2008 Compliance Conference to be held during one of the following weeks in one of the following cities: Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Orlando, FL, Phoenix or Scottsdale, AZ or San Antonio, TX. July 7-10, 2008 July 14-18, 2008 July 21,-24, 2008 July 28-31, 2008 November 3-6, 2008 The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night is 795. The program may consist of one reception; one luncheon; a general session on four days; and up to ten concurrent sessions on one day. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site in December 2007. The solicitation document will contain the details of the Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quote will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC.
