- FISC San Diego Regional Contracting Department is announcing its intent to issue a request for proposals for the following: Item 0001: Industrial Tools for aviation related repairs in accordance with the SOW (approximately 976) different items; NAICS: 423840, business size 100 employees are applicable. It is anticipated that this procurement will be issued as restricted to HUBZone Small Business Concerns and a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery type contract will be awarded as a result of the RFP. FISC San Diego is seeking proposals for domestic/qualifying country material only. Contractors selected for award will be evaluated on their capability to provide domestic material that meets the Government's requirements and their ability to perform services in accordance with the solicitation and the statement of work including Technical capability, past performance and price. The Government intends to issue the contract for a base year period and three one year options . Inspection and acceptance of all material and services will be performed at Destination. Delivery location is the FRC-SW, San Diego, CA 92135. Standard commercial packaging and marking will be required. The RFP will contain a detailed statement of work describing the Government's requirements for delivery and services. The RFP will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 11 February 2008. The solicitation period is anticipated to close on COB 1500 PM, PST,12 March 2008. Contact the Contracting Officer at email address penny.brown@navy.mil with requests for information.
