- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure the nonrecurring and recurring engineering effort associated with ECP 242-R1, T45 Requirement Avionics Modernization Program (RAMP) from McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, the OEM. In total, 18 aircraft RAMP kits and 2 simulator retrofit kits which will include aircraft/ simulator common hardware which will be procured for retrofit. NAVAIR anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract for the NRE and kits with MDC. These kits will used to perform Avionics upgrades on the T-45A aircraft with the T-45C crew station and associated avionics systems.
