- Description of Work: THIS IS A HUBZONE SETASIDE PROCUREMENT. The work Will consist of removing the existing roof at Building 1000 which is a built up roof and will be replaced with a new 4-ply built up roof. The existing roof at building 8000 is an epdm membrane roof with gravel ballast that must be removed. The new roof shall be placed on 2 of insulation. The new roof will be a direct glue down 60 mil membrane roof with 2 insulation. No part of the existing roof system may be reused. All waste materials shall be hauled off station and disposed of in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Fede ral Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Ops) Web Page at http://www.fbo.gov/. Compact discs and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check the Fed Biz Ops webpage often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue dat e on or about 19 February 08. Bid Opening date on or about 20 March 08 at 1400 hours, local time at place of bid opening. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http:www2.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location.
