- Solicitation Number W9128F-08-T-0015 On or about 11 February 2008, this office will issue a request for quote for replacing circuit breakers for the Gavins Point Project Office, Yankton, SD. Work consists of the replacement of Unit 1 and Un it 2 generator output circuit breakers (124 and 224) and the replacement of two station service circuit breakers (126 and 226) with new vacuum breakers retrofitted with new breaker cells adapted to the existing generator/switchgear bus. The work also inclu des an option to replace each of three neutral breakers (122, 222 and 322) with high impedance grounding equipment consisting of a neutral transformer, grounding resistor, and secondary disconnect switch. The circuit breakers to be removed are four (4) 1950s vintage Brown Boveri Canada, Models DBH20P600 station class air-blast circuit breakers and their associated isolation disconnect switches. The new breaker cells will be adapted to the existing generator/switchgear bus so that they will accept s tandard commercially available draw-out vacuum breakers. The station class air-blast type circuit breakers are to be retrofitted with modern technology metal-clad vacuum interrupter type circuit breaker assemblies. The main unit and station service circuit breakers are rated 14.4 kV, 2000 amperes continuous, 95 kV BIL with an interrupting rating of 600 MVA. Quotes will be due on 12 March 2008 at 2 PM. This solicitation will be listed under the NAICS Code 335313 with a size standard of 750 employees . This solicitation is being advertised under North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code 335313. Please ensure this NAICS code is incorporated in your current CCR profile.
