- Description
- The Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS, is soliciting for a Non-Personal Services Contractor. The position title is Army Community Service (ACS) Parent to Parent Service Provider. The contractor shall provide family advocacy s ervices to military families identified as high risk or in crisis. The contractor shall make home visits to expectant parents or parents of newborns to assist with coping and decision making. The contractor shall provide educational programs for parents to enhance child management skills. The contractor shall serve as the Unit Support Coordinator, and provide the S.A.F.E. Safety Training Program. The contractor must meet all ACS accreditation standards as outlined by regulation. The work schedule is 30 -35 hours per week, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some evening hours may be required. Performance period is 21 March 2008 through 20 March 2009, with two option years. Request for Quotations W91QF4-08-Q-0006 for this requiremen t will be issued on or about 12 February 2008.
