Description

Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order to Buran and Reed, Inc dba Acme Scales Co for the following: Line Items 0001: Inspection, Testing, Calibration, and Certification of 27 platform scales. This company meets the requirements of ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z 540-1-1994 IAW T.O. 00-20-14. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. North American Industrial Classification Standard, 333997, Size Standard, 500 employees, applies to this procurement. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are asked to submit their TAX ID number with their proposal. Please send any response by e-mail or to FAX number (707) 424-2712. Quotes must be received at the 60th Contracting Squadron, LGCB flight, no later than 3:00 p.m. PST on 1 Feb 2008.
