- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for switch, 4 way, 15kV, SF6 Gas insulated, 304L stainless steel, 6-600A source, single sided switch, Cooper Power Systems Part #: KPSVF932-KL-2, KL8 or equal, Qty: 1 each. The requested delivery will be approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an award. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-08-T-0093 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3613, business size of 750 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335313. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 04 February 2008 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
