- -------CLARIFICATION PAINT SPECIFICATIONS, REFLECTIVE TAPING, SAND BLASTING --------- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference numbers are F2FT147345A003 & F2FT148014A004. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23, Effective 26 Dec 2007 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This award is 100% set aside for small business and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 811121 and the small business size standard is 6.5 M dollars. The requirement is the following: remove decking, sandblast, and repaint 3 each 50T trailers and 1 each 35T trailer. The trailers are 35T and 50T Holden Mechanical Fold Lowboy. THE PAINT SHALL BE LUSTERLESS SYNTHETIC ENAMEL MIL SPEC TT-E-527C, THE PRIMER SHALL BE MIL SPEC TT-P-605B. REFLECTIVE TAPING SHALL BE REPLACED ACCORDING TO DOT SPECIFICATIONS. TRAILERS SHALL BE SANDBLASTED, PRIMED AND PAINTED INCLUDING THE MOTOR BOX. Delivery shall be not later than 26 March 2008. Government will provide transportation up to a 15 mile radius from Hurlburt Field. Outside of the given radius the contractor will be responsible for transportation of the trailers. THE SITE VISIT SHALL BE 25 JANUARY 2008 AT 10:00 AM, INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL CONTACT SSGT RODOLFO ESTRADA BY EMAIL AT RODOLFO.ESTRADA@HURLBURT.AF.MIL NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM 23 JANUARY 08 FOR INSTRUCTIONS TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT.
