- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order under BOA number N00019-05-G-0008 for services and engineering support necessary for the program management and technical support directly related to integration of the TOMAHAWK Weapons System into the DDG-1000 Surface Platform. Tasks include program management and technical support in the areas of systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, performance engineering, system safety, integrated logistics support (ILS), and integration, verification and test (IVT). NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Raytheon Company, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, Arizona 85734-1337. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the Tomahawk Block IV missile. As such, Raytheon is the only known source that possesses the unique expertise, proprietary data, manufacturing equipment, and facilities required to perform this effort in the required timeframe.
