- Description
- The work consist of furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, transportation, supplies and materials required to perform maintenance dredging of approximately 1,012,900 cubic yards of unclassified material from Georgetown Harbor, Sampit River and Upper Winyah Bay, Georgetown County, South Carolina. Material shall be deposited in the designated upland disposal areas. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. This solicitation is a 1 00% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS Codes is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the Size standards is $18.5 Million. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Construction Contract. MAGNITUDE OF WORK is $1,000,000.00 to $5,0 00,000.00. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Offerors must register in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) (https://www.fedteds.gov/) to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the website for notices and amendments. Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award of a contract. The solicitation will be posted on or about 12 February 2008 with bids due on or about 14 March 2008.
