Description
MC-130 Flight Simulator Facility, CURRY COUNTY, CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, NEW MEXICO. This acquisition is a total HUBZone set-aside. Only offers from qualified HUBZone small business concerns that appear on the list of Qualified HUBZone Small Businesse s maintained by the Small Business Administration will be accepted. Offers received from concerns that are not certified by the SBA to participate in the HUBZone program shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. NAICS is 236220/SIC 1542, wi th a size standard of $31,000,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The offerors attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regardin g the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about February 6, 2008, with proposals due on or about March 6, 2008. This solicitation will not be issued on paper. WORK CONSISTS of the construction of a one-story facility with reinforced concrete found ation and floor slabs, masonry walls and standing seam metal roof. The facility consists of a 60 ft. X 60 ft. X 60 ft. simulator bay, briefing rooms, conference room, mass briefing area and computer room. The project also includes site preparation, seism ic requirements, fire protection, communication support, generator and all supporting utilities. This project will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitat ion package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best overall value to the Government. Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract.
