- General Information Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: W912K6-08-R-0001 Posted Date: 25 January 2008 Original Response Date: 07 February 2008 Current Response Date: 07 February 2008 Original Archive Da te: Current Archive Date: Classification Code: 89 Full-Line Food Distributor Set Aside: Unrestricted Naics Code: 722310 Food Service Contractors Contracting Office Address USP&FO For Maryland, 301 Old Bay Lane, State Mil itary Reservation, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078-4094 Description The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) is soliciting for a full-line food distributor that will provide food distribution support, including but not limited to, fresh a nd/or frozen meats and poultry, frozen seafood, fresh, canned and frozen vegetables, semi perishable products, condiments and other subsistence items necessary for delivery of food products to units/activities of the MDARNG. Normally, monthly deliveries ar e required at MDARNG armories and training sites in the State of Maryland. However, deliveries may be required at military training sites in adjacent States. Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract shall be awarded from this solicitation. The period of contract performance shall consist of a one (1) year base period with four (4) one-year option periods, with the base year beginning on/around 01 April 2008. The government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. Order limitations, annually, will consist of a minimum amount of $5,000 and a maximum amount of $500,000. The delivery order maximum amount shall be limited to $250,000. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 722310. The SIC is 5812. Evaluatio n of proposals shall be based on product pricing, firms technical capability, firms past performance and firms quality performance initiatives. All responsible sources may submit proposals, which will be considered by this agency. The solicitation (req uest for proposal) will be available on/around 07 February 2008 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distribute d via this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information about this solicitation. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 1:00 P.M., 13 February 2008, to be conducted in the Armory Cl assroom, 301 Old Bay Lane, Havre de Grace, Maryland.
