- Description
- Provide Grounds Maintenance Services at Joint Base, NJ. The contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance Services as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) at McGuire Air Force Base, to include the McGuire Air Force Base Medical Group, the 108 Air National Guard, and Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, New Jersey. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for proposal and is issued as a HUBZone Set Aside under the Standard Industrial Classification Code - 0782, NAICS code - 561730, and the related Small Business Standard - $6.5M. Only all responsible HUBZone certified companies will be considered for award. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements contract. The proposed performance period is a Base Period from 1 April 2008 to 30 September 2008 and four (4) one-year options. A preproposal conference and site visit are tentatively scheduled on or about 19 February 2008. If you are planning to attend the site visit, and in order to ensure access to McGuire AFB and Lakehurst Naval Air Station, prior coordination with the 305th Contracting Squadron is mandatory not later than 18 February 2008. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 11 February 2008. The Offer Due Date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (EPS) website at http://www.fedbizops.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 305 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation.
