- Description
- This is a sources sought notification. Please do not submit proposals. The VA Medical Center, seeks to replace two existing elevators in Building 1 at the VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision required. This work includes the demolition, removal and replacement of the two existing 3500 pound elevators including all associated components, demolition, mechanical, electrical, structural modifications, temporary fencing, all necessary rigging, and all modifications required for complete and functioning system, and final clean-up. The elevator contractor shall design, engineer, furnish, and install the elevator equipment and perform all work of the contract complete in a first class workmanlike manner. All work shall be done in accordance with the requirements of all local codes and applicable regulations which may govern the requirements of this installation. The elevator contract shall include all work and materials that may be required for the complete and proper execution of the work as specified, including cutting, patching and grouting as required to support or accommodate the machinery and equipment. All work shall be performed in accordance with the best trade practices. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to Elizabeth R.
