- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Traffic Organization, Facilities/Technical Operations, is conducting a Market Survey / Request for Information to determine the capabilities and interest of vendors in providing contract maintenance services on the Load Balancer Equipment manufactured by F5 Corporation. Interested vendors will provide FAA full support for hardware and software in the following site locations: NOCC - National Operations Control Center FAA / ATCSCC / NOCC 13600 EDS Drive Herndon, VA 20171-3233 MOCC - Mid-States Operations Control Center FAA MOCC c/o Olathe ARTCC 250 South Rogers Rd Olathe, KS 66062 WJHTC - William J. Hughes Technical Center Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center Atlantic City International Airport Atlantic City, NJ 08405 This announcement is not a screening information request (SIR) or request for proposal (RFP) of any kind. It is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Further, the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The FAA will not pay for any costs associated with the preparation of responses or information provided in response to the Market Survey, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with the Market Survey submission are solely at the interested parties' expense. Any information provided under this request for information is for informational purposes only and will not be released to the public. Any proprietary information submitted must be adequately marked as proprietary and will be protected accordingly. The interested vendor's response (one response per company) must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on February 12, 2008. All responses to this Market Survey must be in writing, on company letterhead, and must demonstrate that the company can meet the minimum support requirements provided above. Limit responses to 10 pages and submit feedback regarding the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and include a signed Business Declaration Form (Attached). The FAA prefers all submittals to be submitted electronically to the following e-mail address: Maria.G.Florentino@faa.gov. Please submit as a MS Word or PDF file.
