Description
SPM7LX08R0027; The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 3 NSNs (Automotive Shaft Axles and Constant Parts Kit). The major FSCs of this requirement are 2510 and 2530.An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration will be the base year plus 4 option years to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This acquisition is unrestricted with full & open competition. This acquisition is not set aside for small business. The solicitation will be available approximately 2/11/08 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. The PIDs are no longer available on the Internet and are included as part of the solicitation. Contractors are required to request drawings as outlined in the solicitation. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required, delivery to be made to locations specified in the solicitation. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government. See note 26. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
