- Description
- The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis a Firm Fixed Priced contract with BCF Designs Ltd. and/or its authorized distributor S W InterConnect for three Data Bus Network Testers. This is a ruggedized, hermitically sealed and manually calibrated by the user; it is a computerized multiplexed digital data distribution system. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Section 6.302-1. The BCF Designs Ltd. Data Bus Network Tester is unique in its specific ability to test faults and other imperfections in the V-22's wiring systems. It has been qualified and tested to support the V-22. However, the Government will consider all responses within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
