- Solicitation AG-4870-S-08-0001 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals should be submitted in writing, email, or fax. The synopsis will run for 15 days beginning October 17, 2007. The solicitation will be posted to FBO beginning November 1, 2007 and run until Friday, November 30, 2007. This acquisition is for supplies and installation. Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area (NRA) is a designated National Recreation Area under the management of USDA Forest Service. This solicitation will be for an automatic revenue control system with credit card and magnetic stripe acceptance. Barrier gates that restrict traffic flow to unpaid customers are required as part of this system. Successful Offeror will be responsible for shipping and installation of equipment. The contract being issued will require performance within 60 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP). This solicitation is being set aside 100% for small business. Offers must be received at the Administrative Office, USDA Forest Service, Land Between The Lakes NRA, 100 Van Morgan Drive, Golden Pond, KY 42211 no later than 3:30 PM CDT on Friday, November 30, 2007. The government anticipates award on or about December 14, 2007. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote offers the best value to the government (price and other factors considered). Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system. Awards cannot be made to non-registered offerors. FAR 4.10 requires offerors to be registered.
