- This is a combined synopsis/solicitations for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6. The Naval Inventory Control Point intends to issue a sole source purchase order using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to acquire CargoMax Software Maintenance to support the Afloat side of the Military Sealift Command (MSC). The subject software maintenance is being acquired from the software developer. Herbert Software is the developer for this software. MSC has been using this product because it is essential to their command. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. No Request for Quotations (RFQ) N00104-08-QQ289 will be prepared or made available. The applicable NAICS is 541511.
