- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Simplified procedures as described in FAR 13.5 will be used for acquisition of these commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The reference document number for this is 1300001939. The incorporated document, provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-21 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20071108. The applicable NAICS code is 334310. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The required equipment is manufactured by Radvision, Inc., 17-17 State Highway 208, Suite 300, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410-2819 and this acquisition is being pursued on a Brand Name Mandatory basis. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?. Only the requested Radvision brand name equipment follows will be procured because it must be integrated into an existing security and communications system. The contract line item numbers (CLINS) and descriptions are as follows: CLIN 0001 SCOPIA 4 Slot Chassis for 400 including dual power supply-P/N 55880-00602-Qty 4 each; CLIN 0002 MCU SP Card Supports 96 Audio conferencing ports of any code combination. SIP and H.323 signaling included- P/N 55888-00601-Qty 4 each: CLIN 0003 MVP SP Card supports: 48 standard rate (up to 384KBPS) video ports 24 high rate (up to 2MBPS) video ports-P/N 55830-00601-Qty 4 each; CLIN 0004 AS-10SP Card application server card-windows 2000 server operating system-P/N 55875-00601-Qty 4 each; CLIN 0005 GW-S40 SP Card 4 Ports serial gateway card, H323 (over IP) H.320 (over serial interfaces), built-in audio transcoding, supports V.35/RS449/EIA530 and RS366 for signaling -P/N 55883-00601-Qty 4 each; CLIN 0006 KIV7/RS366-DTE KIV7 Cable with RS366 for signaling, DTE, supports lossignal -P/N 55543-0605-Qty 16 each; CLIN 0007 P/N 55597-00016-Qty 4 each ; CLIN 0008 50 Port License-P/N 88597-00001-Qty 4 each; CLIN 0009 Three Year Maintenance Plan-Qty 4 each. Award is expected to be 4 February 2008. The items will be shipped FOB Destination to Receiving Officer, NAWCAD, Bldg 8115, Villa Road, St. Inigoes, MD 20684-0010.
