- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the U. S. Army Cost and Economic Analysis Center, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Calibre Systems, Inc., 6354 Walker Lane, Suite 300, Alexandria, VA 22310-3252 to provide support to the Army Performance Management Coordinator for development of methodologies and databases for estimating the cost of services being provided by Army installations at a standard as well as support for input of results to the POM, integration with the distribution, and execution analysis. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of three months (01 February 2008 through 30 April 2008). This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Interested parties may ex press their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT Monday, 28 January 2008 at 12:00 PM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
