- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propo sals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for the SES Leaders Conference where a venue with the following requirements would be needed on February 8th, 2008: One meeting/banquet room to accommodate 200 ( SES members, the ODUSD(CPP)/CPMS and DoD Component support staff) for the general/plenary sessions/working lunch without a room turn. Eight (8) break out rooms for focus group sessions. Basic audio-visual support. Venue should be reasonably close, if no t co-located, to a lodging facility for out-of-town participants. Lodging must be offered at or below the prevailing government per diem rate. And the venue ideally should be on METRO or accessible to METRO or other public transportation. The applicable NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6.5 million. We make payment by DFAS, therefore, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). Award shall be made to the technically acceptable, low price proposal. Yo u shall submit commercially available literature for your unit/services that demonstrates that all of the above capabilities are met. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 211-11 ($3000), FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 42.212-5, FAR (52.203-6 Alt I, 52.219-14, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232.33, 52.232-36).
