- The Department of National Security and Strategy, Office of Regional Studies at the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks has a requirement for two (2) Support Faculty Instructors who will support the Regional Study Elective (RSE) Africa course di rector in teaching the RSE Africa course. The contractor will be responsible for teaching and evaluating one seminar group. Course will be taught in a combination of lecture and seminar group format. The course will be conducted at the U.S. Army War Col lege, Root Hall, Carlisle Pennsylvania. Course enrollees will be primarily professional military officers, U.S. and foreign government civilians from among the US Army War College student body. The course will have ten (10) classes that are three (3) hou rs each. Instructor qualification: Instructor shall be qualified by virtue of education, MEL-1 certification or equivalent, recognized stature as an authority on subject matter, educational philosophy and instruction techniques of U.S. Military education institutions, expertise in the field of study specified (Africa) and be able to provide written critiques of student performance in the Course Evaluation Report. Period of performance will be 14 March 2008 through 30 May 2008. Offerors must be registere d in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. Further information on registering with CCR may be obtained at website http://www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611710 and the small business size standard is $6.5 mil lion.
