- FBO DESCRIPTION This solicitation is for laboratory services. Contractor shall provide laboratory services to include blood drawing, packaging, pickup, and transport of specimens to its laboratories; pre-analytic processing as defined in its Laboratory Testing Manual; test analysis of specimens; reporting of analytic test results; and consultation regarding test selection, specimen collection and preservation, specimen transportation, principles of methodology, and results interpretation, as requested by the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, Honolulu, Hawaii and associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Maui, Kauai, Oahu and the Big Island. This is a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance for one (1) base year and four (4) one (1) year options. NAICS Code is 621511 and the size standard is $11.5M. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. Solicitation documents will be available on or about February 15, 2008 or later.
