- Description
- The Department of State intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Intelsat General Corporation, 6550 Rock Spring Dr. 450, Bethesda, MD 20817-1112. The award is to lease four dedicated 64 kilo bits per second (kbps) circuits in support of the re-routing of existing dedicated circuits between Washington and Moscow, Minsk, Kiyv and Almaty. No contracts will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
