- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the provision of Mid-Level Practitioner services for the inmate population at the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single contract that shall consist of a 12 month base year, and the possibility of four 12-month option years for renewal. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The estimated number of sessions (a session equals eight hours) is 780 sessions for the base year, and 780 sessions for each of the possible option years. The solicitation will be available on or about February 20, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 27, 2008. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621399 and the applicable small business size standard is $6.5 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
