- Description
- FEMA intends to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis with Xerox Corp, located at 1301 K Street NW, Suite 300W, Washington, DC 20005 to provide DocuCare Preventative Maintenance Service for the following FEMA locations: 500 C St SW, Washington DC 20472; 395 E St SW, Washington, DC 20472; 300 D St SW, Washington, DC 20472; 800 K St NW, Washington, DC 20001; 1800 S Bell St, Arlington, VA 22202. This acquisition is being procured on a sole source basis under the statutory authority Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy requirements, as implemented by 10 U.S.C. 2034 (c)(1). Xerox Corp is the only company that can provide maintenance service on the Xerox brand copy machines located at the aforementioned locations. Award is expected to be 1 February 2008. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, interested parties may submit a proposal in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information receive by 30 January 2008. A determination not to compete this procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333313.
