- The building is a multi-story hardened reinforced concrete structure enclosing approximately 441,000 sq ft. The Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems are designed to provide and maintain the required indoor design conditions for the facilities during normal, upset and accident conditions. The HVAC systems prevent the spread of contamination in the facility and provide the required operating environment and minimize the release of contamination to the atmosphere.
