Description

The DCMA at Boeing Philadelphia, PA intends to negotiate and award a time and materials delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0012. The proposed order will be awarded on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, Boeing Helicopters, Ridley Park, PA. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code, Section 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Boeing has basic design engineering authority for the flight critical components on the CH-46E. Qualification of the improved locknut bearing retaining mix box, P/N 423D2105-1 necessitated the update of the drawings of the next higher assemblies in order to maintain configuration control. Under this order Boeing will revise the 423D2012 Transmission assembly Aft/Mix and will create the 423D2076-5 drawing . In addition, a new mixbox assembly drawing, 423D2004-5 will be created. Boeing will also revise the 423D2076 Shaft Cover Idler Mix Box drawing to reflect the 423D2076-2 cover modified for AIMS instrumentation. Deliverables under this order are the revised proprietary drawings.
