Description
A. This is Amendment No. A001 to Solicitation No. TDP-08-01 for Contractor Registrar Services. B. The following questions were generated as a result of this solicitation and are answered as follows: 1. Q: What is the "completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3" that I am to include in my bid? A: FAR 52.212-3 is the Federal Acquisition Regulations provision, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items. The information in this Provision must be completed and submitted along with the proposal. 2. Q: What is the agenda and purpose of the January 15, 2008 Pre-Proposal Conference? Is it a forum for asking additional questions and to see the work that would be involved? Is it mandatory and/or necessary to attend? A: The purpose of the Pre-Proposal Conference is to discuss the requirement to ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of the requirement. Vendors may also ask questions. The conference is not mandatory but is recommended. 3. Q: Does the sentence reading "The Government contemplates awarding a Labor Hour contract for this effort" mean that the bid should include an hourly rate as well as a total 12 month amount? A: The proposal shall include hourly rates, labor classification and labor hours for the base and each option year along with the other information mentioned in the solicitation. 4. Q: What does "contract type" mean for references? Is it kind of work or a specific NAICS code? A: Contract type is exactly what it says. This is the type of contract that will be awarded. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 16 lists the various types of contracts. A Labor Hour contract will be awarded. 5. Q: What does an "unbalanced" option price actually mean? A: A price that is low for one option period of work and enhanced for other option periods. 6. Q: Who is the incumbent? -- Are they qualified to bid ? A: The current incumbent is Merrill Lavine. Yes. 7. Q: Is there any clearance required, if so, what level? A: Sensitive 8. Q: How many man-hours are needed? A: As listed in the solicitation, it is requested that offerors proposal be based on 20 man-hours per week. This is a Labor Hour contract. Contractor?s may occasionally work less than 20 man-hours per week. 9. Q: What are the key-business work hours? A: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-JAN-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
