- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to modify an existing contract, Number PBGC01-CT-04-0685 with Booz Allen & Hamilton who is currently assisting PBGC to enhance the Case Management System (CMS), formerly Case Administration System (CAS), with necessary functionality to support Benefits Administration and Payment Department (BAPD), Insurance Program Office (IPO), and Financial Operation Divisions (FOD). These changes include adding new milestones for current business processes and new milestones to support the new Pension Protection Act (PPA) Legislation changes. There's a need to increase the estimated level of effort which will meet management's requirements and schedule for this project. The increased level of effort will allow for additional personnel to continue the completion of this project to include integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, documentation, and deployment. The changes include enhancements for the BAPD, Enterprise Architecture (EA), FOD, and IPO. It is in the best interest of the PBGC for the current provider to complete this work by modifying the existing contract which will ensure continuity of work and accuracy in execution. This is not a request for proposal.
