Description
The proposed contract action is for commercial itesm, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Goodwin & Goodwin (All Fresh Products, Inc.) under the authority of Far 6.302. This a combined solicitation/synopsis is for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-08-T-0059 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 424420: $100. All interested bidders shall submit quotations electronically by email to kimberly.dsouza@med.navy.mil or by facsimile at 619-532-5596, attention Kimberly D?Souza. E-mail submissions are limited to 2MB. The submitter should confirm receipt of facsimile and email submissions. Quotations are due on or before 29 January 2008, 10:00AM Pacific Standard Time to be considered responsive. NMCSD has a requirement for the following items while the hospital cafeteria undergoes renovations. The following items are needed for diabetic patients, as well as those on low sodium and low calerie diets. The requirement is for 10 cases (12 units per case) of CLINs 0001 through 0005 (20 cases for CLIN 0006) to be delivered for 18 weeks. CLINs 0007 and 0008 shall be delivered at one time. These items must be provided in a timely manner and free of defects (must be received at the proper temperature). Must be willing to substitute entrees if necessary.
